An interactive poem about a pilot and the machine they are bound to, framed as a prayer recited before descending into war. Approximately 10 minutes in length, depending on reading speed. Built with Twine using SugarCube 2.37.3.

Disclaimer: I have never written a poem before. I know this is a rough piece of text, something I needed to get out of my system so I could move on. And yet, I still choose to share it, in all its awkward, imperfect rawness, rather than churn out AI-generated slop paired with AI-generated images. I chose to use no images at all, and instead lean into trying for the UI to carry the experience. Be human. Express yourself.

Content notes: war imagery, themes of hatred and self-loathing, body/machine fusion. No graphic violence.
